  Great experience! Even though the day we booked for the tour rained heavily, we were bumped to the next day earliest slot. Appreciate their effort for that. However, counter staffs are not the friendliest, the pilot mumbled throughout the trip, but for the view at the top of the glacier, definitely worth it.

  The one thing you need to know about this activity is that it's extremely weather dependent and I can't stress this enough. Our initial booking was cancelled and while the staff were fantastic and tried their hardest to rebook us the day after (3 times), all bookings ended up being cancelled on weather.
  
  With the above in mind, I don't have experience of the actual trip itself but I thought it was worth still posting so you know not to get your hopes up. The weather changes quickly in Franz Josef and, while it's almost an assurity that if you get to go up the mountain that it'll be great, if there's at all a chance of bad weather on the date of your booking, lower your expectation as the team prioritise your safety over anything else (as they should) and could very feasibly cancel your flight.

  Incredible. although that doesn't do it justice. the price is definitely worth it! don't let that deter you. Quickest 20 minutes of your life so take in every second. Staff are so lovely!
